uPVC Duct Pipes in Saudi Arabia (20mm to 63mm)

4B Factory produces uPVC duct and conduit pipes at our Al-Kharj plant for the electrical, telecom, infrastructure, and street lighting markets across Saudi Arabia. The full diameter range from 20mm through 63mm covers the everyday cable protection needs of MV and LV power cables, fibre optic ducting, building wiring, road crossings, and pull boxes.

Pipes are extruded from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride compound for high impact strength, dimensional stability, and long service life in the Kingdom’s hot, dry climate.

Standards and Compliance

  • SAS / SASO 254 for non-pressure uPVC electrical conduits, the Saudi market reference for building wiring conduits.
  • BS 6099 where the consultant or main contractor specifies the British reference.
  • NEMA TC-2 for underground PVC duct, NEMA TC-6 for PVC and ABS plastic utilities duct for underground installation, and NEMA TC-8 for extra strength PVC plastic utilities duct for underground installation. We supply to these references on project request.
  • ASTM D1784 cell class compound, where the project specification calls for it.
  • Documentation supplied: dimensional report, impact test record, flame test summary, and crush resistance test on the larger duct sizes.

Applications

  • Building wiring conduit for residential, commercial, hospitality, and government projects.
  • Telecom and data cable ducting for ISP and fibre rollouts.
  • Street lighting cable protection on highway, corniche, and city projects.
  • MV and LV cable protection for utility distribution networks.
  • Encased duct banks for primary substations and data centres.
  • Underground duct crossings under roads and car parks.
  • Pull pit and manhole entries for cable routing.
  • Industrial cable trays and machine wiring protection.

Delivery Across Saudi Arabia

Cable contractors are usually working to a sequenced site programme.

We dispatch palletised, banded loads from Al-Kharj to Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Dammam, Khobar, Tabuk, Qassim, and the Eastern Province, with phased delivery on long projects so the site is not blocked by stock. Phased call off against a master purchase order is supported.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are 4B Factory uPVC duct pipes SASO approved?

The uPVC duct pipe range is manufactured to SAS / SASO 254, the Saudi standard for non-pressure electrical conduit. Test reports and compliance documents are issued with each order.

What is the difference between PVC conduit and uPVC duct?

“PVC conduit” and “uPVC duct” are often used interchangeably in the local market. Strictly, uPVC means unplasticized polyvinyl chloride, which is the rigid compound used for our duct pipe. All of our duct range is uPVC.

What length do the pipes come in?

Standard lengths are 3 metres and 6 metres. Other cut lengths are produced on bulk orders for projects that need pre cut duct for pull pits or duct banks.

Can the pipes be installed directly underground or in concrete?

Yes, our 32mm through 63mm sizes are routinely encased in concrete duct banks and direct buried for MV, LV, and telecom networks. For deep burial under heavy traffic, we recommend the heavier wall thickness in the same size and a concrete encasement.

Are these duct pipes flame retardant?

Yes. The compound is self extinguishing when the flame source is removed, in line with the SAS / SASO 254 requirement.

What colour options are available?

Standard stock is white and black. Grey and orange are produced on bulk orders, useful for projects that colour code circuits or for telecom networks that require orange duct.

Do you also manufacture fittings to match?

Yes. We produce a range of solvent socket couplers, bends, adaptors, and inspection bends to match the 20mm to 63mm duct range. See our Customised Fittings page.

Can you supply for a large telecom or street lighting tender?

Yes. Phased call off, project specific marking, NEMA grade variants, and dedicated production slots are available on tender orders. Contact us with the tender quantities and schedule.
