Two Things Worth Planning for in Hail

Winter handling

Hail records some of the lowest winter temperatures in the Kingdom, and overnight sub-zero conditions are normal between December and February. Rigid uPVC becomes less forgiving of impact as temperature falls, so unloading, stacking and trench-laying on cold early mornings should avoid dropping pipe or striking sockets. Handled with that in mind, cold weather presents no performance issue in the installed line.

Distance and consolidation

Hail is a long-haul destination. A part load costs disproportionately more per metre than a full one, so quantities are best consolidated into a single scheduled delivery wherever the programme allows.
