Standards We Manufacture To

Three reference standards sit behind our product ranges, depending on the pipe system and application.

Saudi Standards (SAS/SASO)

Our uPVC duct, sewer, and watermain pipe ranges are produced to relevant Saudi Arabian Standards Organization specifications, including SAS 254/255 for electrical duct pipe and SAS 1395/1396 for uPVC sewer systems.

ASTM International

PVC pressure pipes in Schedule 40, 80, and 120 are manufactured to ASTM D1785 and ASTM D2241, the benchmark international specifications for rigid PVC pipe dimensions and material properties.

DIN Specifications

Selected product lines follow DIN classification requirements, giving contractors and specifiers an additional recognised reference standard for pipe wall thickness and pressure ratings.

Our Quality Control Process

Quality control at 4B Factory runs through every stage of production, from raw material intake to final dispatch, so every length of pipe performs as specified on site.
  1. Raw Material Inspection — incoming PVC compound is checked against approved formulation and supplier documentation before it enters production.
  2. Dimensional & Wall Thickness Checks — outside diameter, wall thickness, and length are measured against SAS/ASTM/DIN tolerances at set intervals during extrusion.
  3. Pressure & Hydrostatic Testing — pressure-rated pipe ranges are tested to confirm they hold their rated class under sustained internal pressure.
  4. Impact & Material Property Testing — samples are tested for impact resistance and material consistency to confirm long-term performance in buried and exposed conditions.
  5. Batch Records & Traceability — production data is logged by batch, so results can be traced back to raw material and production date if ever required.
  6. Final Inspection Before Dispatch — finished pipes are visually and dimensionally inspected before release for delivery.
